Weekly Love Horoscope -May 25

May 24th, 2009

If you were born near 18th, this is a week of changes in relationship. Mars (action), Chiron (healing), Neptune (dreams), and Jupiter (luck) are in good mood for you.

On May 24, we had a new moon in Gemini. This is a great time to work on new relationship especially for Sagittarius and Aquarius signs. With Mars and Venus in Aries, these two signs are most favourable now for love and relationship. If you were born near 25th of any month, you may meet your past love or friends.

Three astrological bodies (Neptune-dream, Chiron-healing, Mercury-information) will be stationary in sky within May 28 to May 30. If you were born near 18th of any month, you may see inflation point of healing and dreams. You may also meet your past love now.

Scorpio and Taurus could see a volatile period in this week in love. Don’t experiment too much in love and have value based relationship. Your elder child could also show a rigid attitute. For Taurus, Saturn is lying alone in Virgo. Capricorn’s orderly ruling planet was moving backward until mid-May to act as a reminder to tie up loose ends, refine systems and gain additional training and experience before the next rush forward. This time it will flush your attaching system.

Venus is in Aries. Now the wheels of love are ready to roll at high speed, pushed along by an impatient Mars to awaken brave hearts and spur romantic adventures. Mars has started moving in Aries from April 24. This is lovely time for all Aries, Sagittarius, Libra, and Gemini. The desire for intense engagement can trigger erotic impulses and enterprising ventures.

Jupiter, North node, Chiron, and Neptune are staying in Aquarius now. Libra should get benefit from it. Libra sign is already seeing lots of activities on their creativity sector (child, romance, or education). If single and dating, you may decide the future course of this relationship. This opportunity you are getting once in twelve years. Enjoy this period by planning a fun trip or spending more time with your love.

Market week -May 25

May 24th, 2009

Global markets showed flip-flop during Mercury retrograde (Heliocentric Mercury in Sagittarius). The “trickster” (Mercury), is at its strongest when it turns retrograde, coinciding with all kinds of mixed signals from politicians and economic data releases alike. The bullishness of heliocentric Mercury in Sagittarius coincided with very healthy rallies in precious metals, foreign currencies (against the Dollar), crude oil, and grain prices. All soared to multi-month highs last week.

Saturn’s stationary motion showed its impact on Indian election. In this case it coincided with the re-election of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in India, and the stock market of India liked that choice so much the Bombay Sensex stock index soared 17% last Monday. It was largest weekly gain in 17 years in Indian market. By Tuesday and Wednesday, most of the other markets we track made weekly highs.

The first passage of the 13-year Jupiter-Neptune conjunction occurs this week, May 27. This aspect is getting support from Chiron and Mars. With a planetary cycle this long, its influence is usually evident for several days, even weeks. Neptune will turn stationary retrograde the very next day, May 28, and Jupiter will do the same on June 15. On 28 degree in Aquarius, we have Neptune (dreams, vision) and Chiron (healing) stationary within May 27-30. Mercury is also changing its direction on May 30. With so many planets in stationary motion, you may see inflational points for many stocks related to communication and oil.

On personal level, If you were born near 25 and 18, expect financial volatility this week.

In conclusion, this week markets could continue seeing flip -flop motion. With so many aspects, oil price and communication stocks may see volatility this week. Job market may be bearish again. There will be intensive focus on cleaning and re-organiging of business.

Disclaimer: This all study is to understand astrology better. Don’t take investment decision based on that.

Astrology week by anil- May 25

May 24th, 2009

We had new moon on May 24 in twin sign of Gemini. Gemini rules the mind and our thought processes. On this New Moon we can work toward opening the mind to a diverse range of new ideas, while maintaining a perspective rooted in the principles of generosity (Jupiter in Aquarius) and responsibility to serve (Saturn in Virgo). If you were born near 25th of any month, this new moon will impact you more closely. As we know, new moon is good time for any intiation in life. This new moon is making tough angle with Pluto (past event, sex, hidden events) from Capricorn. You may be meeting with past friend or lover or dealing with past unfinished agenda.

Though retrograde Mercury in Taurus is not great for open-mindedness, Venus and Mars in Aires are all about trying new things. This is the New Moon to work on your communication skills. Learning how to communicate effectively creates successful relationships. Gemini also rules change. This is the best night to work on managing your fear of change.

On May 26-27, Jupiter and Neptune have conjunction in optimistic Aquarius. If you were born near 18th of any month, this aspect would impact you more closely. This aspect could create extreme optimism or pessimism. Mars (action) is making supportive aspect from this aspect from Aries. Jupiter is the planet of good-luck, optimism, and expansion. Neptune is the ruler of dreams, the psychic, and creativity. Sometimes conjunctions can be stressful, and sometimes they can be positive .Chiron (healing) is also present at same angle. It all depends upon the situation and the people reacting to it. Tendencies towards excess, idealism, creativity and naivety will be evident. The Jupiter impulse of expansion may encourage you to reach beyond your actual capabilities.

On May 28, Neptune (dream) is going to be in retrograde. Spiritual Neptune’s retrograde turn is a subtle shift that’s unlikely to be noticed as a significant event. Yet it does suggest that we may be stepping back from our worldly dreams to seek fulfillment within.

Three astrological bodies (Neptune-dream, Chiron-healing, Mercury-information) will be stationary in sky within May 28 to May 30. If you were born near 18th of any month, you may see inflation point of healing and dreams.

Mars has started moving in Aries from April 22. Macho Mars is raw, rapid, rebellious and reckless in its fiery home sign. It provides a spark to ignite excitement and initiate new projects. We may be quicker to anger, though, as emotional responses tend to be unfiltered. Physical activity is a good way to drain off excess energy and channel competitive instincts in a healthy direction.

Astrology of Swine Flu

May 17th, 2009

I’ve been looking into flu pandemics and astrologic combinations since the recent flu outbreak was announced. As far back as 1580 when the first flu pandemic was recognized Saturn and Uranus have been in contact in most cases. Saturn delights in the 12th and 6th houses (Pisces and Virgo by sign) so confinement and disease/public health are located in those houses/signs. Uranus ruler of Aquarius involves humanity and group interaction and some say influenza specifically — not to mention surprise epidemics.

So that said, in 1829 before the pandemic of 1830-33 Saturn was in Leo opposite Uranus at 10 Aquarius. During the Hong Kong Flu outbreak in July of 1968 Saturn at 25 Aries was inconjunct Uranus at 25 Virgo. The Swine Flu scare of 1976 we had Saturn at 3 Leo squaring Uranus at 3 Scorpio. But the more important and deadly pandemic was in 1918 when in October, Saturn was at 24 Leo opposite Uranus at 24 Leo. The last week of October 1918 saw the peak in deaths in several major cities around the world.

Well, what is the potential for this Swine Flu? Interestingly enough Saturn at 20 Virgo was opposite Uranus at 20 Pisces in February of this year. The Mexican health authorities have pinpointed the initial outbreak to this February. Unfortunately these two planet go into opposition one more time in September at 24Virgo/24 Pisces at sensitive degrees for epidemics and an echo of the 1918 outbreak.

Will it be as bad as 1918? Probably not in terms of percentages but there will be a death toll that might approach 1918. I think the U.S. is in good shape. Uranus rules invention and we have come a long way in preventing disease and creating new treatments. There are similarities between this flu and the 1918 flu. I fear we will know soon enough.

Business jokes: corporate astrology and the “inventions of the week”

May 17th, 2009

From silly astrology for business to the electronic cigarette, there’s plenty in this week’s instalment of the Friday funnies to keep you entertained all afternoon long.

The old “Tickle Me Elmo” joke

A women desperately looking for work goes into a manufacturing plant. The personnel manager goes over her C.V. and explains that he regrets he has nothing worthy of her qualifications and experience. But the woman is desperate. She assures him that she will take any job going. The personal manager “ums” and “ahs” for a bit and finally says that he’s got a low skill job on the “Tickle Me Elmo” line that she’s welcome to take. The woman happily accepts. He takes her down to the line, explains her duties and tells her to be in for 8am the next day.

The next day, at 8:45, there’s a knock at the personnel manager’s door. The “Tickle Me Elmo” line manager comes in and starts ranting about the woman he just hired. After screaming for 15 minutes about how badly backed up the assembly line is, the personnel manager suggests he just show him the problem.

Together they head down to the line and sure enough, Elmos are backed up from here to kingdom come. Right at the end of the line is the recently-hired woman. She has a roll of Elmo material in one hand and a bag of marbles in the other. They both watch as she cuts a little piece of fabric, takes two marbles and starts sewing them between Elmo’s legs.

The personal managers starts to kill himself laughing. After 20 minutes of rolling around, he pulls himself together and walks over to the new employee. “I’m sorry,” he says, still giggling. “I guess you misunderstood me yesterday. What I wanted you to do was give Elmo two test tickles.”

The Corporate Zodiac
Forget Jonathan Cainer and Sally Brompton, all you need to establish the fate of your workforce is the corporate zodiac. Divided by roles, not star signs, see how relevant these predictions are to your staff…

MARKETING:
You are ambitious yet stupid. You chose a marketing degree to avoid having to study in college, concentrating instead on drinking and socialising - which is pretty much what your job responsibilities are now. Least compatible with Sales.

SALES:
Laziest of all signs, often referred to as “marketing without a degree”, you are also self-centered and paranoid. Unless someone calls you and begs you to take their money, you like to avoid contact with “customers” so you can “concentrate on the big picture”. You seek admiration for your golf game throughout your life.

TECHNOLOGY:
Unable to control anything in your personal life, you are instead content to completely control everything that happens at your workplace. Often even YOU don’t understand what you are saying, but who the heck can tell?! It is written that the Geeks shall inherit the Earth.

ENGINEERING:
One of only three signs that actually studied in school, it is said that ninety percent of all Personal Ads are placed by engineers. You can be happy with yourself: your office is typically full of all the latest “ergodynamic” gadgets. However, we all know what is really causing your “carpal tunnel”…

ACCOUNTING:
One of the only other signs that studied in school, you are mostly immune from office politics. You are the most feared person in the organization; combined with your extreme organizational traits, the majority of rumors concerning you say that you are completely insane.

EDITORIAL
You flaunt your “education” and razor-sharp wit but your personal hygiene issues ensure that everyone gives you a wide berth - unless they’re having problems with their crossword. You believe that you can do everyone else’s job better than they can but no one notices when you are struck down with swine flu and disappear for three weeks.

HUMAN RESOURCES:
Ironically, given your access to confidential information, you tend to be the biggest gossip within the organization. Possibly the only other person that does less work than marketing, you are unable to return any calls today because you have to get a haircut, have lunch, AND mail a letter!

MIDDLE MANAGEMENT/ DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT/ “TEAM LEADS”:
Catty, cut-throat, yet completely spineless, you are destined to remain at your current job for the rest of your life. Unable to make a single decision you tend to measure your worth by the number of meetings you can schedule for yourself. Best suited to marry other “Middle Managers”, as everyone in your social circle is a “Middle Manager”.

SENIOR MANAGEMENT:
Catty, cut-throat, yet completely spineless, you are destined to remain at your current job for the rest of your life. Unable to make a single decision you tend to measure your worth by the number of meetings you can schedule for yourself. Best suited to marry other “Senior Managers”, as everyone in your social circle is a Senior Manager”.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Bright, cheery, positive, you are a fifty-pence cab ride from taking your own life. As a child very few of you asked your parents for a little cubicle for your room and a headset so you could pretend to play “Customer Service”. Continually passed over for promotions, your best bet is to sleep with your manager.

And now for the Real Business “Inventions of the Week”!

We have been totally captivated by the new “smokeless electronic cigarette”. The promo video is repetitive and slightly patronising but we care not! The inventors desperately try to assure would-be consumers that this little gadget will alow them to smoke in bars and clubs but Real Business would bet its back pages that the bouncer will have his fist in your face before you get a chance to explain, “It’s not real smoke, it’s vapour!”

We will see new moon on May 24 in twin sign of Gemini. Learning how to communicate effectively creates successful relationships. Gemini also rules change. This is the best night to work on managing your fear of change.

If you were born near 16 to 20, astro energies are quite productive now. Jupiter (luck), Chiron (healing), and Neptune (dreams) are in conjuction in Aquarius (25-28 degree). This is a long term aspect.Since Jupiter and Neptune don’t move very fast, this conjunction will be broadcasting from May through December of this year. FYI, the dates the conjunction is exact are: May 27, July 10 and December 21.The triple conjunction marks the dawning of a more enlightening spiritual chapter in everyone’s life.Use this aspect for your benefit.

On global level, Jupiter -Neptune conjuction is linked with global disease like flu. We are hearing about the swine flu story emerged around Maxico. Jupiter represents expansion and freedom. This planet is associated with foreign dealings, religion, philosophy, education, good fortune and excess. It rules religion and the justice system. People who aren’t religious, may still seek spiritual Texperiences such as being drawn to music that moves them, finding ways to help others and spending more time with nature.Neptune has links with the mysterious and spiritual. This planet is linked with secret undertakings as well as mysticism. Neptune is also the planet of illusion.Chiron is the great healer and the sign in which this conjunction occurs: Aquarius, is associated with individualism, science and humanity. These area may see significant change near this aspect.

Mercury (ruler of communication) is in backward motion. Three weeks of backpedaling by the messenger planet can complicate the flow of data, confuse conversations, increase travel inconveniences and accelerate the breakdown of machinery.Life goes on during Mercury retrograde, and some projects advance swimmingly, yet the general atmosphere is one in which small things that can go awry probably will.Mercury will be in retrograde from May 6 to May 30.

Market week -May 18

May 16th, 2009

Global markets showed flip-flop during Mercury retrograde. The “trickster” (Mercury), is at its strongest when it turns retrograde, coinciding with all kinds of mixed signals from politicians and economic data releases alike. But it is also Saturn turning direct this weekend, so the trend was more down as the week wore on for most indices around the world.

Gold continued its rally throughout most of the week, exceeding 930 on Friday. Oil prices will be interesting to watch now onwards due to upcoming Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune conjuction on May 27, followed by Neptune turning retrograde on May 28, and Mercury turning direct on May 30. This indicates a lack of clarity for the most part. Both Jupiter and Neptune are linked with Oil prices in astrology and it can show significant fluctuation.

Many things happening simultaneously now. Saturn has turned direct last weekend (May 16) and heliocentric Mercury will be entering Sagittarius (May 19-30)… Heliocentric Mercury in Sagittarius also tends to correspond to sharply rising prices in precious metals and currencies, and declines in stock prices.

Remember, three weeks of backpedaling by the messenger planet can complicate the flow of data, confuse conversations, increase travel inconveniences and accelerate the breakdown of machinery.Extra attention to details and a fierce commitment to facts, however, will make this a productive time of reorganizing and reconnecting.Starting on Thursday, May 7, and lasting through May 30, this time will probably be more ragebound for markets.

On personal level, If you were born near 25 and 18, expect financial volatility this week.

In conclusion, this week markets could continue seeing flip -flop motion. Some stocks may see inflation point on Monday (saturn effect). Job market may be bearish again.

Market week -May 11

May 10th, 2009

Global markets showed flip-flop during Mercury retrograde. The “trickster” (Mercury), is at its strongest when it turns retrograde, coinciding with all kinds of mixed signals from politicians and economic data releases alike.

I read on stariq like “Astrologers will be most focused on the weekend period of May 15-18, for that is when three things happen. First, that will be around the middle of the retrograde period, when sudden reversals happen. It is more important than usual this time because 2) Saturn will be turning direct that weekend (May 16) and 3) heliocentric Mercury will be entering Sagittarius (May 19-30)… Heliocentric Mercury in Sagittarius also tends to correspond to sharply rising prices in precious metals and currencies, and declines in stock prices”.

On May 16-17, Sun (ego), Chiron (healing), Neptune (dream, water), and Jupiter (luck) are in tough angle with each other. However, the same aspects has supportive angle with Uranus (surprise). It indicates that market wil be really volatile that time.

On personal level, If you were born near 8 and 18, expect financial volatility this week.

In conclusion, this week markets could be stock specific action.
